Kids’ Rub Art 5: Leaf

We come to the last part of this week’s “Kids’ Rub Art” series here on DDoA! Today I will show you how a GWP (gift-with-purchase) silicone leaf-shaped pan rest from Green Pan can be turned into a delightful rub art template.

Materials:

  • Green Pan silicone leaf-shaped pan rest
  • different textured plastic (whatever you can find at home)
  • thin paper (to make pattern of leaf sections)
  • scissors
  • glue gun

Let’s begin…

Step 1- Cut patterns for leaf sections.

Step 2- Apply the patterns as you cut the different textured plastic.

Step 3- Use a glue gun to adhere the cut textured plastic to each leaf section.

And there you go- you have just created an exciting textured leaf template. Explore its possibilities…

*Here is a sample impression from my new multi-textured template. I used successive layers of colour using pencil crayons.
