CONESciousness 3: ‘Well-Heeled’ Cones

Welcome to Day 3 of CONESciousness here on DDOA! Today, I bring you the ‘Well-heeled Cones’ – artrageous shoe designs featuring the Ice Cream Cone that’s loved the world over…You’re bound to hear people SCREAM when they see these ICE CREAM SHOES!

We start off with Karl Lagerfeld‘s design collaboration with Brazilian shoe company MELISSA.
It is always a welcome delight to see creative minds push the envelope on design possibilities. Ok so you love ice cream and you don’t want to just eat it but wear it..’Why not?’ says Karl and Melissa..But in order for you to buy the ice cream for the eternal kid inside, the adult ‘YOU’ has to go to work..so this is a shoe that makes both grown up and the kid happy.. ‘business at the front, and party at the back’.

Don’t all these shoes make you wanna sing:
“I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!
Rah! Rah! Rah!
Tuesdays, Mondays, we all scream for sundaes,
Sis-boom-bah!
Boola-boola, sarsaparoolla,
If you got chocolate, we’ll take vanoola!
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!
Rah! Rah! Rah!”
