Dose #9- The Ship Theatre

Today, a ship’s bow used as a theatre to show maritime history. What a boatiful idea!

Dose # 9- The Ship Theatre

Spotted at: Maritime Experiential Museum, Sentosa Island, Singapore

The Idea: A ship as a theatre showing a film on ships. Thematic? Redundant? I say – it’s perfect!

The Possibilities: Imagine for example:1)  a heart-shaped screen to show a film on heart diseases…2) a pineapple-shaped screen to show the history of pineapple plantations in Hawaii. Indeed, a simple idea with great possibilities.

2- ship theatre -audience

A life-size replica of Admiral Zheng He’s Treasure Ship (Bao Chuan) serves as theatre
at The Maritime Experiential Museum, Sentosa Island, Singapore
