Starter Stamp Art 1: Froggie Trio
Welcome to a new week here on DDoA! I call this week’s series Starter Stamps because: 1- we use a kid’s first stamp product: the MÅLA Stamp pen set from Ikea , 2- we use these stamp pens to get the creative juices flowing. Now nobody can say, “I can’t draw”… we’ll start with the MÅLA frog face stamp pen. Stamp 3, 6 or even a dozen and create a fun composition.
Materials:
MÅLA frog face stamp pen from IKEA
drawing paper
all shades of green coloured pencils
Let’s get started…
Step 1 – Stamp 3 frog heads on a sheet of drawing paper using the MÅLA stamp pen.
Step 2 – Grab all the coloured pencils you have in shades of green.
Step 3 – Design a frog band – with the frogs playing guitar, drums and double bass.
Step 4 – Complete the scene. I played with the idea of a lily pond.

And there you go- you just made your own FROGGIE TRIO!
This is just an example of course, once you’ve stamped those frog heads, they can be whatever you want them to be, and wherever your imagination takes them.
