Maple Teriyaki SALMON or Tofu
I hope you have enjoyed this week’s Canada Day Series. Today I share with you a recipe that requires two ingredients that are quite associated with Canada…maple syrup and salmon. I got this recipe from my mother-in-law. My husband loves this. I love it too. But now that I am a vegetarian, I substitute salmon with tofu, try it out!
MAPLE TERIYAKI SALMON (or TOFU-firm)
1/3 cup apple juice
1/3 cup maple syrup
3 Tablespoons soy sauce
2 Tablespoons finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic
*save some marinade for basting
3-4 salmon fillets
- Marinate 1-3 hours
- Barbecue or broil fish (or tofu)
