Learn more about Michael Bublé
I am a big fan of Michael Bublé. I have been trying to see him in concert for a few years now but it never seems to work out with timing and dates. The last time was when he was passing through Singapore and my husband and I decided we would go online and get tickets. Once released we worked our way through the website and were diligently deciphering the seating plan. But for some reason we were unable to book a seat. No matter how hard we tried it just would not go through. After some more careful inspection it became apparent that all the tickets were already sold out but it was difficult to tell by looking at the seating plan on the website. So, failed again by a Michael Bublé crazed Singapore.Maybe next time, maybe next time…
After spending time exploring jazz music in our public libraries, I’ve discovered a wealth of Canadian talent beyond Diana Krall and Michael Bublé, here are a few of our many amazing artists…

“Matchmaker, Matchmaker”Russian-born, Israeli-raised, Toronto-based jazz vocalist who’s well on her way to becoming an international sensation (she’s Toronto based so i’d like to include her on my list)The intimacy and immediacy of Sophie Milman’s singing reflects the dramatic experiences that shaped her early life. Born in Russia’s Ural Mountains, she left for Israel with her parents in an effort to escape the strictures and uncertainties of life under communism. Among the few possessions that her family managed to hold onto was a cherished collection of vinyl jazz bootlegs. Those recordings would become the foundation for Sophie’s lifelong love of jazz.
