PENCILS 3- LEGO Pencil by lawyer-turned-brick artist – Nathan Sawaya
The Idea: artist uses bricks to create a sculpture and make a statement about writers/creative folks; Sawaya used 3,210 bricks to make this piece

This sculpture is called “WRITER”. Nathan Sawaya says: “Let your big ideas flow. When you let your creativity loose, be it in writing, art, music or whatever, your ideas take on a life of their own. So take those big ideas and set them free.”
And here’s more from master brick artist Nathan Sawaya: “I carry a little sketchpad with me wherever I go. I’m forever jotting down ideas. Many of my works center on the phenomena of how everyday life, people and raw emotion are intertwined. I am inspired by my own experiences, the journeys I take, and the people I meet.”
