Nick Vujicic on Standing Strong 5: On All You Have To Be
Today I bring you the last post on Nick Vujicic, this week’s featured Inspiring Individual here on DDoA.
According to Nick, the victory over his struggles, as well as his strength and passion for life today, can be credited to his faith in God. His family, friends and the many people he has encountered along the journey have inspired him to carry on, as well.
Since his first speaking engagement at age 19, Nick has traveled around the world, sharing his story with millions, sometimes in stadiums filled to capacity, speaking to a range of diverse groups such as students, teachers, young people, business professionals and church congregations of all sizes.
Nick Vujicic is an author, musician, actor, and his hobbies include fishing, painting and swimming. [And if I may add – Nick is also a doting husband and father -married Kanae Miyahara in 2012 and fathered Kiyoshi in 2013]

Years ago, Nick Vujicic, the young evangelist, shared his doubts that he’ll ever meet someone special:
There were times when I sort of looked at my life and said I can’t do this and I can’t do that. You keep on concentrating on the things that you wished you had and all the things you wished you didn’t have that you sort of forget what you do have.
When I was 8 years old, I sort of summed up my life and I thought I’m never gonna get married, I’m not gonna have a job, , I’m not gonna have a life of purpose…
What kind of a husband can I be when I can’t even hold my wife’s hand?…but I realised that I may not have the hands to hold my wife’s hand but when the time comes I will be able to hold her heart. I don’t need hands to hold her heart.
Years later…Nick finds true love!
