The dark purple berry looks like a grape or blueberry. Unlike many berries, this one is 95% seed. Only the skin around the seed is edible, and it’s used to make:
– A tasty fruit juice
– A frozen pulp that can be used in making smoothies and bowls

Acai-Blueberry Smoothie
vegan, serves 2

1 1/2 cups vanilla soy milk
1 1/2 frozen bananas
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 acai frozen smoothie pak OR 1 cup acai juice
*if you use the juice, remove 1/2 cup of the soy milk
3/4 cup ice
Directions:
Blend. Pour, Sip. Smile. Easy!
